Boarding Rates and Things to Know

At The Happy Dog Inn our prices are all inclusive, no added fees for group play, potty walks, beds, cookies, treats, medication administration, play times, or 9.30 "potty times"  We have a one price format because we believe that ever guest should receive complete care.

 

Our Rates are $50.00 for the first dog, $25.00 for each additional dog from the same home in the same suite, per night.  We also have extra large suites available for giant breeds and multi family dogs. Effective June 1st, 2012 all rates will be increasing by $5.00 per night per dog.

 

First time guests are required to complete the Boarding Agreement and provide an up to date  vaccination record before the reservation will be confirmed. Please go to Boarding Agreement Page, print out, fill in and fax back to 480.471.0075.

 

Beds and Toys

Beds are provided but bedding is not, if you wish to bring a blanket or other things to go on the bed they must be freshly laundered. Toys are allowed as long as they are marked with your pets name.

 

Food is not included and you must provide enough for at least 2 extra days in the event you are delayed or want to extend your trip. It is not in the dog's best interest to change their diet. We also appreciate that each meal is bagged individually (2 bags per day per dog). Any supplements, vitamins or medications can be added if you give it with a meal you must provide enough for at least 2 extra days.

 

Play Groups

For those quests who are social and play nicely with others and are spayed or neutered can also enjoy our supervised Group Play twice a day with a liability release from his/her owner. During group play our guests get to run and play and enjoy the company of others all outside in the fresh mountain air. This is a great way to exert energy and make new friends to enrich your dogs resort experience during their stay with us.  Un-altered pets over 6 months of age will not be permitted in play groups due to hormones making them unpredictable, a challenge to others or the possibility of unintentional impregnation.

 

Please note that Females in Heat will not be accepted.

 

Shots/Vaccinations

Normal shots are required, Bordatella (for kennel cough) is required and is your responsibility.

 

Any dog brought to The Happy Dog Inn is subject to anti-parasite measures should it be found necessary. First time guests are required to complete the Boarding Agreement and provide an up to date  vaccination record before the reservation will be confirmed.

A three day notice is required for any cancellations or early returns. Cancellations must be made by 10:00 AM three days prior to check in date to avoid charges. This allows us the opportunity to re-fill the suite.

Holiday Bookings: There is a minimum number of nights required for major holiday's

Thanksgiving is a 5 night minimum, Christmas is a 7 night minimum. Holiday confirmations are made 30 days in advance and are non-cancelable at that time, for the entire reservation period.

Every four legged guest at The Happy Dog Inn will be treated with Frontline Flea and Tick control during the summer months.  There is a one time charge of $10.00 per stay. We do not apply in the winter months.

Hours of Operation

7.00 AM - 10.00 AM and 4.00 PM - 5:30 PM everyday.

 

Check In & Check Out Times Please understand that the strictness of our rules are for the benefit of our guests.

All guests must check in between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM only, this allows for their adjustment to the resort and to start getting into the routine, the earlier the better to get into the morning play group. Arriving before the start of play group allows your dog to acclimate to it's surroundings and is less stressful to your dog.  Allowing a guest to arrive at 6:00 PM would completely disrupt the resort. This is in your dogs best interest!

 

Departing guests may leave between 7:00 AM and 10.00 AM or 4.00 PM to 5:30 PM only. There will be a half day charge for an afternoon departure.  Please note that No guests will be allowed to depart after 5:30 PM. 

 

All drop off's and pick up's are by appointment only!
